Organisation Development Interventions

Organisation Development(OD) Intervention refers to a set of sequenced, planned actions or events intended to help an organisation increase its effectiveness.

At Maanas we believe that an organisation is like a human body where every cell and nerve is in some way connected to another cell or nerve even in the farthest corner from it in a significant and functional way. Any part of the body or system not working well, does in a subtle or loud manner affect other parts. Therefore, the basis of health and growth is cohesiveness.

With this core philosophy, we ensure that all our OD interventions are executed in a participative manner, leading to enhanced organisational and employee performance, cohesiveness and motivation. Instead of any change being top down, entrepreneurs and organisational leaders are facilitated to involve all stake holders in defining what performance and their own job roles mean. Forums are created for open conversation where people can experience connectedness with other departments or parts of the organisation. Utilising that sense of oneness, employees are facilitated to define quality at every level and create systems that would enhance performance wholistically.

We ensure that each step of the OD Intervention Cycle is empowering and enhances ownership. The diagnosisof what is ailing in the organisation or what needs to be changed and why, is invited from the participants rather than us giving expert advice. Similarly, following the outcomes of the diagnosis, the direction and steps of change are also drawn in a participative manner so that the new developments are welcomed and owned up by all stakeholders.

While OD Interventions are spread over a large area, we specialise in the following:
