The Moreno Psychodrama Society (MPS) is a body of people working together since 2001 to bring the psychodramatic method into many areas of our world. MPS is the umbrella organisation for the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne (PIM), the Psychodrama Institute of Aotearoa (PIA), and the newly formed Chapter of MPS in India, 'Psychodrama in India' (PiI); all accredited training bodies that stand for, and promote the development of relationship and community through the unique expression of their members. MPS and the institutes are mutually affiliated with the Australian and Aotearoa Board of Psychodrama (AABP). The Society is also an affiliated organisation with the International Association of Group Psychotherapy and Group Processes (IAGP). The Australian and Aotearoa Board of Psychodrama (AABP) was founded by Sue Daniel in 2001 and currently consists of four members: Lethe Gaskin, Katrina Gaskin (Chairperson), Helen Fryer and Sue Daniel. The position of chairperson is rotated every few years.
It is responsible for the assessment, accreditation and certification of psychodramatists. Certified Psychodramatists are expected to maintain their registration as accredited practitioners through membership of the Moreno Psychodrama Society (MPS), and maintain relevant professional development for the benefit of themselves, the psychodrama community and clients.
There are three psychodrama training institutes accredited with the Board, the Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne (PIM), Psychodrama Institute of Aotearoa (PiA) and Psychodrama in India (PiI). Since 2001, the Board have accredited over 50 Psychodramatists (Psychodrama Directors), 70 Psychodrama Assistant-Directors, and more than 100 people have attained the certificate of Psychodrama Auxiliary-Ego.

The Psychodrama Institute of Melbourne (PIM) is a world class training institute in leadership, group psychotherapy, role theory, sociometry and psychodrama. PIM provides training, supervision and professional and personal development courses in group leadership, psychotherapy, counselling, staff development and organisational consultancy. The institute has at its core the sociometric principles of the founders of psychodrama, Dr. J.L. Moreno (1889-1974) and Zerka T. Moreno (1917-2016).
